Flying Program

All flights over built up areas are subject to prior CAA approval which may not necessarily be granted; Flying program provisional. Flying is weather dependent and subject to aircraft serviceability

Call sign: Spitfire Alfa Lima

Note: Postponement of planned flying - please note that it is sometimes necessary to postpone planned flying due to forecast weather (even if the actual weather proves better than forecast). Major factors in such decisions are forecast rain (because of the wooden construction of the propeller blades and the high rotation speeds of the blades at take off power, water can do a lot of long term damage to the blades and consequently the aircraft is not flown in rain or if there is a chance of rain in the duration of its sortie). Similarly crosswind component limitations are conservative. It is not possible always to provide advance warning of any change of plan.
